The entrance of the Atomic Ranch House greets you with a fun aqua wall featuring vintage photographs from the house. Turn left and you are in one room, with a conversation pit grouped in front of the working gas fireplace. The walls are all stunning original wood paneling, with a built-in corner desk and bookshelves full of games and vintage newspapers & magazines. A tulip dinette set for 4 is the perfect spot to enjoy these.
On the opposite side of the foyer is the second living room with a gorgeous curved sectional and Heywood Wakefield dining table that seats 6. Enjoy the TV with streaming services and DVD player. Both living areas feature walls of floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the hilltop views.
The kitchen is pure Brady Bunch fabulousness, with aqua countertops, gleaming wood cabinets and a fun diner banquette. But it’s all modern functionality, with new appliances (except the original Chambers cooktop, in perfect working order) and fully stocked with all the cooking supplies and dining ware you need. Next to the kitchen is a half bath.
The bedroom wing of the house features three guest suites, each with a privacy lock and en-suite bathrooms. The Sinatra Suite is the largest, with gorgeous wood-paneled walls, vaulted and beamed ceilings, and an incredible, huge blue-tile bathroom featuring a vanity table and tons of closet space.
The Monroe Suite features soft blue walls, a built-in desk with shelves, and a blue-tiled bathroom, as well as its own private patio. The Hemingway Suite with its literary theme has paneled walls, a built-in desk with shelves, and a brown-tiled bathroom.
All of this sits on Stardust Retreat’s 3+ acres, where guests enjoy seclusion and relaxation on a wooded hilltop with views for miles (the nighttime city lights are magical). Sunrises & sunsets are stunning, as is the clear country night sky, perfect for stargazing. The expansive front terrace is lovely for the views or bird & wildlife watching while enjoying some coffee or wine, and you will find a pair of high-quality binoculars to assist.
A back patio provides an additional place to relax, with a gas firepit, inviting hammock, and tables and chairs. A collection of outdoor recreation such as cornhole, connect-4, ladderball and Giant Jenga provide entertainment. A small charcoal grill is also available.
The location is very private — the dead-end residential street has only two other homes (one of which is also part of the Stardust Retreat—see the Loft House), spread far apart. The effect is seclusion & relaxation, while being minutes from anything you need in town.
When booking the Atomic Ranch House at Stardust Retreat, you will have exclusive use and access of the entire home and yard. There is plenty of parking in front of the house, as well as two covered spaces in the open garage. We offer a pack-and-play, crib, and twin rollaway bed if needed (please request ahead of your stay).
The Sinatra Suite
Named after Frank Sinatra, it is the largest guest suite and was the owner’s quarters. From the gorgeous wood paneling and MCM furnishings to the incredible blue-tile bathroom with original vintage tiles, you’ll fall in love. There’s also a separate dressing area with built-in vanity and drool-worthy walk-through closet.
Like all Stardust guest rooms, the Sinatra Suite has a privacy lock, king-size bed with top-of-the-line gel posturepedic mattress and luxury linens, television with WiFi streaming services, en-suite bathroom. and generous closet space. It also has a DVD player.

The Monroe Suite
Named after the most iconic actress of all time, Marilyn Monroe, it features soft blue walls, stained concrete floors, a built-in desk with shelves, and a blue-tiled bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The suite also offers its own private patio to enjoy the great views.
Like all Stardust guest rooms, the Monroe Suite has a privacy lock, king-size bed with top-of-the-line gel posturepedic mattress and luxury linens, television with WiFi streaming services, en-suite bathroom. and generous closet space.

Check-in & Checkout
Check-in is 4 p.m. or after. We offer a zero contact, self check-in process with a unique keypad code for each guest.
Check-out is 11 a.m. We may be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, depending on other bookings.
Please inquire about this 24 hours in advance.
House Rules
Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside any room or house at Stardust Retreat.
We accept pets with prior approval on a case-by-case basis. You must request to bring a pet at the time of booking and receive approval in advance of your stay.
Damage Protection
Every booking requires a Damage Protection policy, which we implement instead of collecting deposits. Fees are:
- Entire Retreat: $45
- Terrace House: $27
- The Loft: $13
- Hollywood Glam Suite: $13
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given for reservations canceled more than 30 days ahead of check-in date. For a cancellation between 14 and 30 days before check-in date, a 50% refund will be given. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in. There are no refunds for late check-in or early departure.
