The Loft is the entire upstairs floor with its own private entrance. Everything is very light, open and airy, and completely modern — a true architectural gem. The perfect country getaway, in style!
The spacious living room has two ceiling fans, a television with Roku and streaming channels, and a variety of games to enjoy. It opens to a full kitchen that includes a large, granite-topped island with seating. You will find everything you need including pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glassware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and coffee and tea supplies.
Two large bedrooms offer top-of-the-line, king-size gel posturepedic mattresses with luxury linens, ceiling fans and ample closet space. The front bedroom offers a wall-mounted TV with WiFi streaming services. The full bathroom includes a slate walk-in rainhead shower supplied with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
All of this sits on Stardust Retreat’s 3+ acres, where guests enjoy seclusion and relaxation on a wooded hilltop with views for miles (the nighttime city lights are magical). Sunrises & sunsets are stunning, as is the clear country night sky, perfect for stargazing. The expansive, covered front porch is lovely for the views or bird & wildlife watching while enjoying some coffee or wine, and you will find a pair of high-quality binoculars to assist.
There is a wonderful disc swing hanging from one of the many large trees that cover the property. A collection of outdoor recreation is available for your enjoyment such as cornholepickleball, and skeeball. A small charcoal grill is also available.
For child safety, there are outlet plugs and a baby/toddler gate for the top of the Loft stairs. We offer a pack-and-play if you need it (please request ahead of your stay). There is plenty of parking in the huge circular driveway for boats, ATVs, trailers or even campers/RVs (no hook-ups available).
The location is very private — the dead-end residential street has only two other homes (one of which is also part of the Stardust Retreat—see the Atomic Ranch House), spread far apart. The effect is seclusion & relaxation, while being minutes from anything you need in town.
When booking The Loft at Stardust Retreat, you have exclusive of the entire upstairs apartment with its own private access. Note that other guests may be staying in the downstairs Hollywood Glam Suite (with separate entrance at the other side of the house). The Loft is on the second floor of the house, accessible by one flight of indoor stairs. You MUST climb stairs to reach the unit!
The Audrey Hepburn Room
Named after the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” star, the front bedroom features iconic images of Audrey from that film and others, as well as memorabilia like the original “Moon River” vinyl album.
Like all Stardust guest rooms, the Audrey Hepburn room has a privacy lock, king-size bed with top-of-the-line gel posturepedic mattress and luxury linens, television with WiFi streaming services and generous closet space.
The bedroom shares one spacious bathroom with the James Dean bedroom — all of it in the private apartment for your party alone.
The James Dean Room
Named after the “Rebel Without A Cause” star, the back bedroom features an original vintage photograph of the star with his Porsche Spyder race car, along with other images of Hollywood’s original bad boy.
Like all Stardust guest rooms, the James Deal room has a privacy lock, king-size bed with top-of-the-line gel posturepedic mattress and luxury linens, television with WiFi streaming services and generous closet space.
The bedroom shares one spacious bathroom with the Audrey Hepburn bedroom — all of it in the private apartment for your party alone.

Check-in & Checkout
Check-in is 4 p.m. or after. We offer a zero contact, self check-in process with a unique keypad code for each guest.
Check-out is 11 a.m. We may be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, depending on other bookings.

House Rules
Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside any room or house at Stardust Retreat.
We accept pets with prior approval on a case-by-case basis. You must request to bring a pet at the time of booking and receive approval in advance of your stay.
Damage Protection
Every booking requires a Damage Protection policy, which we implement instead of collecting deposits. Fees are:
- Entire Retreat: $45
- Atomic Ranch: $27
- The Loft: $13
- Hollywood Glam Suite: $13
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given for reservations canceled more than 30 days ahead of check-in date. For a cancellation between 14 and 30 days before check-in date, a 50% refund will be given. No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in. There are no refunds for late check-in or early departure.
